Disposable email checker
Temporary inbox services let anyone create an address that works for ten minutes and then vanishes. They are the standard way to farm free trials, grab signup coupons and post reviews without a trace. This check tells you whether an address belongs to one of those services, and whether the domain can receive mail at all.
Our list of disposable providers covers the mainstream services and is refreshed as new ones appear. Because the check also runs the domain and syntax tests, a single call answers the whole question of whether the address is worth accepting.
What you get back
Disposable flag. The domain belongs to a known temporary-inbox service.
Domain accepts mail. MX records exist, so a non-disposable address at least has somewhere to go.
Role account. Generic mailboxes like admin@ and info@ that are shared or unattended.
Free provider. Gmail, Outlook and similar. Not disposable, but a weaker identity signal than a company domain.
How to use it
- Paste the address from the signup or order.
- Press Check.
- If disposable, reject or hold the signup. If it is a role account, ask for a personal address before granting a trial.
Who uses this
SaaS with free trials. Trial farming with throwaway emails inflates costs and poisons metrics. Blocking disposable domains at signup removes most of it.
E-commerce. Promo codes and first-order discounts get abused through temporary inboxes.
Communities and review sites. Throwaway accounts are the raw material for spam and fake reviews.

How often is the disposable list updated?
Continuously. New services appear weekly and we add them as they are found. If you find one we miss, tell us and it goes in the same day.
Is a Gmail address disposable?
No. Gmail is a free provider, which we flag separately. Disposable means the inbox itself is temporary.
What about plus addressing like name+tag@gmail.com?
Those are valid addresses that deliver to the base mailbox. We do not flag them as disposable, but the API returns the normalized address so you can dedupe on it.
Can I check addresses in bulk?
Through the API, one call per address, with 1,000 free credits on a trial.
