How LookupLab handles your data
LookupLab is operated by Everyday Software. Contact jude@everydaysoftware.ai about your account or data.
Account and billing
We store your email, stated use case, usage, credit balance and payment account identifiers to operate your account. Stripe processes checkout and payment details. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Lookups and uploaded lists
The list checker parses CSV files in your browser. When you start a check, the selected phone numbers are sent to LookupLab and its lookup provider. We do not send unrelated CSV columns to the lookup provider. Downloaded files are created in your browser.
Phone checks use Telnyx. Other checks may use DNS resolvers or the IP data provider configured for that feature. These providers process requests under their own terms and retention policies. We cannot promise that their systems keep no records.
Storage and retention
Account and billing records are retained while your account remains open and as needed for payment records and disputes. Successful lookup results may be cached in application memory for up to seven days, or until that instance restarts. Requests that supply an idempotency key also keep the result for safe retries, expiring after 24 hours; background deletion may take longer. Credit accounting records and infrastructure request logs are also retained for operations, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Request account deletion or ask about a particular record at the contact above; payment and dispute records may need to remain.
Keys, referrals and controls
API keys are stored as hashes on our server. Signup and the account dashboard save your key in this browser so you can return to your account; use “Forget key on this browser” on the dashboard to remove it. The list checker keeps manually entered keys in memory only.
We remember a broad referral category, such as Google or ChatGPT, in this browser tab’s session storage and attach it when you sign up. We do not store the full referring URL for this feature. We skip this session tracking when your browser sends Do Not Track. We also use network information and request metadata to enforce abuse limits.
Your choices
Only submit numbers and records you are authorized to process. You can stop a list check at any time; requests already sent may finish. Contact us for access, correction or deletion requests.
